Quote errors

This contains more than one issue but they're both related.

 

Browser, version and OS: 

Chrome 88.0.4324.150, Windows 10 

Steps to reproduce/what were you doing before it happened?

This happened on a post which I just posted. The expands just appeared there. The spoiler quote thing happened by clicking Expand, then have that do nothing and then expand the spoiler.

 

What happened?

Extra underscored expands appeared in the quote and expanded spoiler got out of the quote bounds.

 

What did you expect to happen?

I expected the underscored expands not to appear and the expanded spoiler to stay in the quote bounds.

The second issue has already been reported here:

The first issue has been reported to IPS, but they've not released an update in 4 months now so I have no idea when it will be fixed.
