RGB Fans

Hello there, 

I don't know if this is the place where I should post this but I need help guys. 

2 of my 4 RGB fans freeze when I enter in any game or sometimes even it freezes random. If anyone has solution please help it would be greatly appreciated! 

My PC specs:

Intel core i5 10400F

Nvidia GeForce GTX1660Super 

16GB DDR4 of RAM

H410M motherboard 

Zalman-zx 2 600 power supply

The lighting freezes or the fan itself freezes and stops spinning?

 

How are the fans and RGB connected to the system? What software are you using to control the RGB? What brand are the fans?

Only lighting freezes I acutally don't know the brand and don't rly know how they are connected because I boguht pre built PC. 

First I thought it was my power supply but 600W is more than enaugh I guess for my PC. 

I tried updating intel bus connector drives but it did not fix it.

I assume those are addressable RGB fans. If they were are old type 4 pin 12V RGB all of them should have the same problem.
Now we need to know if those are connected directly to mobo by some splitter or through some additional box like Corsair commander.


What exactly motherboard do you have?
Are you comfortable with removing side panels of your computer? If yes remove them and take a picture of each side.

Did you update BIOS?

I don't actually know how to update BIOS. Could you explain how to update BIOS?

If you're able, remove the side panel and take a picture (and post them) of how things are wired up.

 

Updating the BIOS is pretty straightforward, but is not without risk so it's better to see if it's a wiring or controller issue first.

Okay, so all your fans are controlled by that ARGB hub. Trace the wires from the fans you're having issues with back to the hub to see which connector they are. Start simple by unplugging and re-plugging those connectors. If that doesn't work try moving the fans with issues to a different connector on the hub.

Try to shuffle rgb connectors on your argb hub. If problem persist on those two fans they are probably damaged. I saw those kind of failures many times with cheap argb fans

Here is good instruction. If you dont uderstand some part i would seek help of more experienced friend. Worst case scenario you can brick your mobo
