Hi there I've got hp omen 15 2020 ryzen 7 1660ti and amd radeon tm graphics 512MB.

Thing is I've already had amd radeon settings lite app pre installed in the system ,but I could not find updates option on that app so I've downloaded amd radeon settings app from the website..it was 2 or 3 gb in size and eventually it deleted the amd radeon settings lite app and ..now I am worried that will it affect the system and performance...cause my main graphics is 1660ti and amd radion tm graphics is 512MB.

Would appreciate any assistance

Thank you

There is no reason to bother with the software for the integrated Radeon graphics when you have a discrete Nvidia GPU.

Are you actually experiencing any problem or drop in performance?

No..I haven't not probably...

Please suggest the next step

You're not experiencing any problem, and you don't seem to have anything you're trying to achieve, so I'd say the next step is... Do nothing?

I really don't know what this thread is about.

All of the graphical "work" in your laptop should be handled by the 1660 ti. You should be able to ignore anything to do with the integrated AMD graphics, they're redundant. You don't need to do anything with the Radeon settings app. Any changes to your GPU settings should be done through the Nvidia driver software.

Hi there, I've got hp omen 15 2020 ryzen 7 1660ti, it has amd tm graphics and nvidia gtx 1660ti as a discreat graphics , the thing is for updating the amd drivers i installed amd settings app and that lead to eventually removing the radeon settings lite app from the system, but due to whoping size of may be 3 gb I Uninstalled the radeon settings app, and now I am not able to download radeon settings lite app from Microsoft store,

So would it be okay without the software, or will it degrade my performance,

Would appreciate the assistance

Thank you

This is identical to the thread you posted before. I told you then that you don't need to do anything with the Radeon settings software because you have the 1660 ti. The AMD drivers are irrelevant. You shouldn't even need to update them because they aren't needed, the 1660 ti is handling graphics for your PC.
