I have my eye on a cheap iPhone 11 from eBay (I know, very sketchy) that claims it's iCloud locked. I've looked into the issue and found a site called <probably some scam shit>. If anyone has used this site and has any success, please let me know.

I've never used that site, and the marketing seems kinda sketchy. But as far as I can tell, the service they are advertising is removing network locks (i.e. restrictions that prevent the device from being used with any provider other than the one you bought it from). This will do nothing if the issue is with iCloud.

By the way, my desktop is a docked laptop. Get over it, No seriously, I have an exterrnal monitor, keyboard, mouse, headset, ethernet and cooling fans all connected. Using it feels no different to a desktop, it works for several hours if the power goes out, and disconnecting just a few cables gives me something I can take on the go. There's enough power for all games I play and it even copes with basic (and some not-so-basic) video editing. Give it a go - you might just love it.

As far as I know, the only way to remove an iCloud based activation lock is to get in touch with Apple and provide original proof of purchase, and even that isn't a 100% guarantee. I am ALWAYS skeptical of these sorts of services.

Thread locked. Not going to help with ways to circumvent security measures to help prevent use of stolen devices. Don't buy stolen goods.
