Hello,

 

I have been planning to upgrade my Graphics card for a while now as my GT 530 has basically become a relic. if need be I don't mind buying anew PSU either

Location: Australia

Budget: $600-$700

 

PC Specs-

CPU: i7-2600 @3.4Ghz

RAM: 8GB(2x4) @1066Mhz

Motherboard: Pegatron 2AB5 -PCI 2.0 x16 (Micro ATX)

Graphics Card: GeForce GT530 (OEM) 2GB DDR3

HDD: Seagate 750GB 7200RPM

SSD: Don't have one

OS: Windows 7 Home Premium 64Bit

 

if I was to upgrade my GPU I wouldn't mind sticking with NVidia but if not I don't mind going with AMD.

 

Please Help!!!

What is your psu? 

PC: Corsair C70 Arctic, FX 9370, Corsair H80i, Gigabyte 990fxa-ud3, Corsair Vengence 16gb, Palit JetStream GTX 970, OCZ Vertex 4 128gb and Western Digital Blue 1Tb + 500gb, Antec Gamer 520w

R9 290 for sure, that way you can get yourself a very nice PSU too.

I'd go with an SSD, and something like a 760.

If you can find a better used motherboard, grab one of those as well. 1066 RAM is a little painful.
