I have a Asus tuf fx505gt-bb51-cb with a 15'6 screen 60hz refresh rate and a 30 pins connector

Im looking for a replacement screen to improve my refresh rate from 90 to 120hz

Any suggestion of model that will fit? I look to a Asus Rog screen but it have bracket on top, me i dont have that

You want to replace a laptop panel to get higher refresh? Might be possible.  Probably isn’t.   Someone would have had to make the right panel with the right attachment points in the right place and the right connection, and then the laptop would need to have the code in it as well as the additional gpu capacity to push that higher refresh.  Not impossible.  I don’t see it as likely though.

Not a pro, not even very good.  I’m just old and have time currently.  Assuming I know a lot about computers can be a mistake.

Life is like a bowl of chocolates: there are all these little crinkly paper cups everywhere.

You cant just change a screen. The connector is likely proprietary, and going up in resolution or refresh rate is likely going to take a different connector.

as i seen on the motherboard, you can put a 40 pin connector, but i seen in a video its not working, even said Asus is trolling us 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

The thing about laptops is everything is proprietary, even if the screen fits, the connector may be different; even if the connector is the same, the cable may be too short; even if the cable is long enough, routing it differently may harm its longevity; even if the routing is the same, the cable connection may have been restricted at manufacture stage - you never know until you try, and its usually not worth it.

Also if the difference of 90Hz and 120Hz is that perceivable to you, you might need a screen with an even higher refresh rate. At that point Id recommend outputting to an actual external monitor if you are gonna spend the money, just make sure your ports and cables meet your desired specs.
