Do you have any overclocks? If yes just turn it off, should fix your problem.

That's mine. I said don't worry about it. Most freezes is because of unstable overclocks.

Turn it off, it doesn't matter if it runs fine with not issues. I promise you the problems with freezing will disappear.

I just checked mine, saw pretty much the same thing so I assume it's fine until things start exploding.

I don't think event viewer is a great way of diagnosing issues. I currently have 6,244 events in mine, but no perceivable issues.

What were you doing when it froze?

matter of fact this is the 3rd time one time the screen just went black had to restart

not working cause this time it froze than screen went black

Does it fully lock up? Then the screen goes black? You are going to have to be a bit more specific.

If it's fine now I would remove any overclocks and re install your GPU drivers and see if that solves things.

That to me sounds like a RAM issue possibly, you could run Memtest or try different sticks or each individually if you have multiple.

But still don't really understand what you mean, does the computer lock up (as in can't move the cursor or anything) and then it goes black? or it just goes black?

And do you have any overclocks set?
