Second SSD not showing

Hi, I have a Helios 300 and just put a second ssd in. An xpg gammix, however it doesn’t show up in files. It does have windows and files on it currently if that matters. Thanks for the help!

This happened to me on my Dell G3.

It's definitely something in the BIOS.  I don't quite remember what it was called on my Dell.  Since you don't have a Dell, it will likely be differently called.  But it will be a setting on your laptop drives.

 

Go into bios settings and play around with it.

 

This happened to me when I upgraded my m.2 and mechanical drive.  Only the ssd 2.5" was being recognized, not the M.2.  I changed something on the bios settings under drive and that resolved it.

Thanks for all the help, I just booted it and the drive shows now so I think it’s working.
