Will a PCIE 3.0 Graphics Card work in a PCIE 2.0 Motherboard?

I want to upgrade my slightly older computer with a gtx 750 ti, but I am not sure if it will work with my motherboard. Will a pcie 3.0 GPU work in a PCIE 2.0 Motherboard? Thanks in advance for the help! ^_^

Yep, you will see no difference as a 750 Ti will never fully consume PCIe 2.0's bandwidth. So if you want one, buy one.  ;)

 

P.S. I recommend the EVGA GTX 750 Ti SC edition card, it's the best bang per buck as it comes factory overclocked.
