As long as you can get a phone signal, can you get a 4g modem & a unlimited data only plan? Our plan has a cap of 750GB a lot easier to almost hit than I thought, I haven't played any games for a while & we are not really heavy streamers. They are a local cable company but cable from them sucks & kind of expensive for what they have. the next plan is uncapped & $65 unbundled.

Yeah, you can get legitimate dedicated 4G/LTE hotspots from most cellphone providers, at least here in the US.

Whether or not the price tag is worth it is all up to whatever the prices are in your area.

Most providers I have seen are a little sketchy when it comes to "Unlimited". T Mobile has home internet via LTE thats "Unlimited". But they do the whole deprioritize packet thing if you use too much data. T Mobiles service is like $50 for 50 Mbps.

We pay $86 a month for 200/10 internet with 1TB cap. So if its $65 for uncapped service Id say thats not bad. Uncapped service with my provider you need to add $30/m on top of the price of any plan to get Unlimited.

I just want to sit back and watch the world burn.

Sorry, I know I sound whiny. just a local cable company leases the line down this street from  Spectrum. We pay $56 for 25 down with a 750GB cap, when Spectrum has a much better plan for cheaper.

Personally Id just pay for the uncapped plan. Because most wireless providers will have depriortizatioan starting at about 25 to 50 Gigs of use. Cellular networks were not designed for heavy use and most towers are over subscribed. Like I said, I have to pay $86/m for 200/10 with 1TB cap. If I want unlimited I would have to shell out another $30/m on top of what we are paying. Thats $116/m.

If you really want 4G internet I suggest checking out T Mobile coverage in your area. If its solid look in to their home internet. They are not offering it everywhere yet. Its something like 50 Mbps for $50/m. They claim no cap, but they do the deproitorization. There is some indications that Home internet customers might always be deprioritized. Im not sure if T Mobile does on their home internet like they do on mobile with only allowing DVD quality 480p video streams, cause that might be a thing.

I just want to sit back and watch the world burn.
