Is there a software for these RGB fans?

reeeeeebbhdhsbdsbdhs

Just bought and installed these RGB fans and they look really nice but the only way to turn them on is by opening my side panel and clicking the controller button inside the case. I've tried aura sync and dragon centre and neither are detecting them. Any ideas on software to control them? https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B07KJZPZH3/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

According to the website it should work.

Did you connect the 3 pin headers to the motherboard?

Build:

  • CPU: AMD 3700x
  • Cooler: Hyper 212 EVO RGB
  • Motherboard: MSI x570 tomahawk wifi
  • Memory: Teamforce Delta RGB DDR4-3000 16 GB
  • Graphics Card: EVGA 1660 SC ULTRA
  • Case: Fractal Design Meshify C
  • PSU: Fractal Design Ion 660w
  • OS: Win 10 Pro
  • Case fans: Sickleflow 120 RGB (3-pack)

Nothing I say is guaranteed to be correct, please remember this. I'm still learning every day.

Feedback is appreciated!

(in other words i can say stupid stuff so double check what i say)

Its explained in the pictures (from the link you sent)...
You need to connect it to 5V aRGB, which is somewhat standarized...

Then there should be software for your motherboard to control such connection. If you dont have one its gonna be a bit harder to get the RGB working.

Yes I did. Those softwares just aren't detecting it. Kinda a hassle to open up my PC every time i wanna change it ://

It will not 'detect'...

Software will send commands and if connected right the leds will light up, its 1-way traffic on those things.

But if you want some more direct help put the type of motherboard as well as how and where you have connected it. Connecting it incorrectly CAN damage it to not work anymore. (altho unlikely)

I do not think an aRGB fan-set is a Hue bridge.

Please send motherboard type and software type. Then maybe we can see what is what.

What motherboard?

Might even be that your motherboard DOES NOT have the needed aRGB connection. Just regular RGB, which is different.

You might need to Install MSI Dragon Center to be able to adjust the aRGB settings. I've no clue howto connect that trough to the AuraSync stuff tho.
But if you get #1 working the rest is a lot easier.

Oh thats very weird indeed. I would thihnk thats the way to test, since MSI mobo and all...
Im sorry but without some hands on im lost. 😞

One last thing you could try is power the leds from another source to test it?
Or maybe see if OpenRGB can find/setup your RGB awesomness.
