What to upgrade first?

Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: Twitch Live-streaming.

 

currently streaming minecraft and it runs fine but wanting to expand to other games. Also when using animated overlays in stream labs it makes everything slowdown and be unusable, so I’m stuck with normal overlays sadly

1050ti 4GB GPU

1TB WD Blue SSD SN550

Any Ryzen 6 or 8 core, 2000 series and up depending on what you can actually buy for a decent price

GPU is fine for 1080p gaming and nothing else is in stock anyways wait until the RTX 3060/ 6600/6700 XT for that

What motherboard do you have? I'd probably suggest upgrading your CPU and motherboard. If you have £500, you can probably get a new motherboard and CPU, so I'd suggest doing that. Everything else would be fine with that. GPU is fine for 1080p gaming.

update bios to F31, then to F40, then pop a AMD Ryzen 5 3600 in it.

save the rest of the money for when the gpus aren't overpriced by a factor of 2, as they are now.

My bios is already on F40, so could I just drop a Ryzen 5 3600 in anytime?
