Budget (including currency): 600 GBP (£)

Country: United Kingdom, more specifically England

Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: I plan to use it mainly for school during the day but during the night for gaming

Other details I'm planning to upgrade from a crappy HP Notebook Windows 10 with 4GB of RAM.

I still have not bought it yet (I'm waiting for the pandemic to get better), but I have had my eyes on some which match my specifications

I want: 8GB of RAM minimum,256 GB of SSD Storage minimum, preferably an AMD CPU, but I wouldn't mind an Intel one.

Ive also seen some laptops with NVIDIA GPU's. I don't know if it is possible to fit a large GPU in such a small laptop, but I wouldn't mind having a GPU.

In terms if peripherals, I have began to loathe mousepads, but I already have a mouse so that won't be an issue.

I don't know much about screen sizes, but my current screen is 13.5 inches, so I wouldn't mind having a similar size or maybe just a bit larger.

As for the laptops I have looked at so far, here are the links to some I have considered:

And, as ever, thanks for your help

Recommending the HP Envy x360 13", pick your flavour between Ryzen 4000 and Intel 11th Gen depending on whether you want better CPU or GPU performance (Intel iGPUs are faster, CPUs are slower). They're built like tanks, have great specs for the money, easy to repair yourself with plenty of parts available online, and their service won't tell you to stuff it like most manufacturers and will actually take care of you.
