I would be patient for a few months (if you can) for Maxwell to arrive. At the moment though, for $4000....You should be able to afford a 4770K and SLI 780 Ti's (or Titan Blacks). This configuration, along with 16GB of RAM, should get you the best performance for your money (if that even matters at this price-point)

Also, this is in the wrong thread. Next time, post in the "New Builds and Planning" section.

I would definitely get a 4770k and a pair of SLI GTX 780tis or Titan Blacks. I don't think there's a good reason to spend $4000 on a PC, when you wouldn't that much of a performance increase with a 4960x vs a 4770k (Or at least not $700 worth of a performance increase).

I'm that guy with the GPD Win.

Here is a build that will run 3 monitor 1920x1080 resolution spanned.

It would also run 2560x1440 maxed out on a single monitor for all current titles and be "future proofed".

http://pcpartpicker.com/p/3esW5

It is overkill and still way below your budget, what resolution do you plan to play at, I can edit it and save money if your only playing on 1 monitor at 1080p.

We need to know your absolute goals such as monitor resolution,  frames per second on ultra, overclocking goal.

Waste of money. Stick with getting a 4670k at most if what you want to do is gaming. http://www.techspot.com/review/734-battlefield-4-benchmarks/page6.html
