that would be useful, forgot about that lol. the pc isn't starting up. tried manually starting up with a screwdriver too. no dice.

Ok so lets just try it first outside of the case. Maybe take some pictures of how everything is installed too?

What is the problem? One of the first oddities I see is that psu. That is a 9 year old unit that should not be used with a modern computer

it was included with my prebuilt 4-5 ish years ago. probably worth replacing but didn't think that it would be the problem. worked fine before i moved to my other case.

What were the specs of said prebuilt? A change in power requirements can easily mess with an old psu like that.

the new mobo & stuff worked with the parts inside the pc right now. the issue only started happening when i moved all the parts to my new case

Ok so eliminate the case from the equation. So do the typical put the board on the motherboard box (A cardboard non conductive box) and test it on there to see if the system works. If that is the case then there is something in your case causing a issue.

What is going on with the cpu power header. Why are there multiple that isn't a 6+2pin one hopefully right?

tried with my old board (b450-f) as well as with this board. both didn't work.

Ok so when you hit power nothing happens right? Like at all? I'd say get a new psu and try with that too as well this thing is very old and may simply not be up to the task it is required to do anymore.
