Hi guys,

Need some advice here. I would like to upgrade my PC for gaming.

Current Setup

Processor: Intel i5 2400 3.1GHz/6MB LGA1155

Mainboard: Zotac H67 ITX-C-E
Memory: Corsair 4GB DDR3 1333MHz Value RAM x 2
Graphics Card: EVGA GTX 570 HD Superclocked

I'm considering this:
Processor: Intel LGA1150 4670
Mainboard: Asus Maximus VI Impact Mini ITX
Memory: G-Skill RipJawX 2133MHz CL10 - 16GB
Graphics Card: Asus GTX770 2GB DC II OC DDR5

OR
Should I just upgrade the graphic card based on my current setup? Is there any bottleneck?

your current cpu is still a 4-core i5, so there wont be a bottleneck if you just upgrade your graphics card.

maybe get some more ram, as 4 GB is a bit low for modern gaming titles, but other than that, you could just get a 780ti.

Personal Build Project "Rained-On"

helped building up the CPU Overclocking Database and GPU Overclocking Database, check them out ;)

you could just upgrade to 8gbs of ram, get the 4670, but if youre gonna overclock get the 4670K, and then the motherboard and maybe a 780.

Your cpu should be fine I would get a nice 1600mhz 8GB kit or 16GB kit if you really want it and grab a 770.

Yeah new ram kit and a graphics card. CPU is ok.

My current setup has 8GB of RAM. (2 x 4GB)

Do I need to upgrade to 1600MHz of RAM instead and get a card?

Unless you're playing games that are heavily reliant on really fast single threads, your current cpu is fine.

My current setup has 8GB of RAM. (2 x 4GB)

Do I need to upgrade to 1600MHz of RAM instead and get a card?

Okay, even with a GTX 780?

The speed of ram doesn't really make a noticeable difference for most users.
