Single channel ram hurts performance, your next upgrade should definitely be a second ram dimm.

 

685 watts for the PSU? Pretty massive overkill. Hope the PSU is a quality unit or the overkill will go to waste.

 

Good to have gone with an SSD instead of skimping with a hard drive first and having to move windows over later.

 

I WILL find your ITX build thread, and I WILL recommend the SIlverstone Sugo SG13B

 

Primary PC:

i7 8086k - EVGA Z370 Classified K - G.Skill Trident Z RGB - WD SN750 - Jedi Order Titan Xp - Hyper 212 Black (with RGB Riing flair) - EVGA G3 650W - dual booting Windows 11 and Fedora Linux - Black and green theme, Razer brainwashed me.

Draws 400 watts under max load, for reference.

Looks nice but the PSU scares me

 

It's just begging for an RX 580

Yep went with large single channel to setup for better and most cost effective upgrade later on.  PSU was a spare so i used it.  I've used them for years always been solid for me.

Is. A 480 or a 1050ti even.  Find $100AUS.  Half on more memory half on a used video card.  Then you’re pretty much good for a while.  The only near future worry is possibly the 4/8ness of the apu or the video card needing something.  Modern video cards are near impossible to get atm though.

Not a pro, not even very good.  I’m just old and have time currently.  Assuming I know a lot about computers can be a mistake.

480=580 considering you can literally flash a 480 to a 580. I like the 1050 ti but it's nowhere close
