New monitors in 2021

LeGreatMaxiking

Hey guys. Im looking for a new monitor for my rtx 2080ti. I have seen linus predator x35 and i want something similar. Are there any new models for that HDR1000 512 Dimming zones panel coming out?

1440p (UWQHD if possible) minimum 165hz. HDR 1000. Specs worth? I want a very good HDR experience.

Have also looked at the Samsung ODYSSEY G9 but it has like a few dimming zones only.

Any news for new monitors?

I dont want to pay the 2k€ for this hell of a monitor.

While there are few announced with Mini LED FALD of even up to 1152 like the Asus ROG Swift PG32UQX, also supposedly will do 'peak' brightness of 1400nits.

Dont expect these kinds of monitors to be cheap, u WILL be looking at 1500 euro + ..likely 2k+

Even current / older 1000 nits displays are still 1k+.

What ur after hasn't dropped into mainstream production or price range yet.

the fald replacements are 27 and 32inch 4k, the old 35inch uw stays. 1152 zones on 27inch, hdmi 2.1, waiting on dp 2.0 hdr1400 miniled. rumored prices are 4500 and 6500usd (i forgot to bookmark the full list of panels and couldnt find it again) If you can fit a 35inch and 2k budget, then i recommend just looking at the 46 inch LG OLED TVs for around 1500usd

I have a x27 and ive seen the x35 in person,, those fans are annoying, i've unplugged my fan and put a small tower fan behind my monitor after just 2 years. Not recommended between the fan and the outdated ports. Though 1400usd used is alot cheaper than 4500usd new.
