Hi there, I have asus strix rx570 gpu and it has a 4 pin connector on the side that says fan. Bcs my exhaust fan is connected straight to the power supply, I would like to connect it to the gpu so it doesn't run full speed all the time. Can I do that, is it dangerous, I already tested and it fits, no problem plugging it in, just didn't try powering it like that.

Thanks.

Because if I do, it doesn't spin at all. I have msi a320m mother board it only has 1 fan conector, and my intake is connected to that

Ah ok. Is your fan 4pin? lf it is idk why it wouldn't work if your gpu does have a fan connector, that's hopefully not the one for It's own fans lol

On the box, that I got my gpu in, says it's for fan control, so it really should work. My fan is xinmai fan with rgb, and it is connected with the rgb strip on the front of the case.

Yes. I have a similar Asus card.  The 4pin will control the fan based on GPU temps. The only issue is that if you happen to be running a CPU intensive load (and not running a load on the GPU) the fan will not ramp  based on the increased CPU heat... Just be mindful of that (or adjust the fan curve in consequence.
