I was thinking about getting a Blue Yeti and i was wondering if that's a good mic. I just want something I can set on my desk about 2-3 feet away from me and talk in games but still hear from my speakers. not streaming or youtubing or anything like that.

I think this would be a bad idea. The Blue Yeti is a condenser mic according to its specs. If it's anywhere near the sensitivity of my Rode NT-USB Mini it'll pick up pretty much everything in the room easily, so everyone in the call will enjoy what comes out of your speakers. From my admittedly basic knowledge, what you want I believe is dynamic microphone that is more directional and to put it close to your mouth.

If you really want your mic 3 feet away, wear headphones I'd say, or get a mic that you put close to your mouth that won't pick up sound from behind it.

Blue Yeti has different settings, but even cardioid one does pick up quite much from sides and back. So getting shotgun mic might be better solution. Could you post sketch on what you are trying to do? 3 feet being just under 1m seems very short distance between mic and speakers. If I understood that correctly. Ideally you might want to have 2-3 meters between the two to make sure that mic doesn't pick up anything from speakers.

Okay, of you have any sort of background noise or an untreated room this is a very bad idea, you want the mic as close to your mouth as possible since volume is a function of the square of distance.

If you'd consider alternatives take a look at the link in my signature, I run through a lot of other options including the Behringer C2 which is nice and small so that if you do put it right next to your mouth it doesn't block your vision or get in the way.

Also, no, if you use your mic with speakers not only will you be 'that guy' but you'll create massive echo and/or feedback loops which aren't fun, if you're certain that you want to use your mic with speakers the only possible solution is to use a dynamic microphone, get it right at your mouth and hope for the best.

my speakers would be about 1 foot away from the back of the mic, and the front of the mic 2.5 feet from my face, my phone on speaker phone works well but doesn't provide in game audio just discord with my friends cuz i use the app on my phone.

That setup will never work well.
With distances like that you will echo, you just will.
