6900Xt Wont boot

Hello so i recently got a 6900xt and When trying to boot up i get a black screen with the white led on my mobo (z490 f) stuck on VGA not sure what to do i refitted it and tried other slots nothing but the odd thing is that the tool to change the rgb still lets me change the colours on it via mobo graphics and also on device manager it shows up put my old gpu in and works fine not sure what to do thanks P.S Im not the best at computers sry :P

As far as I can think of there's only a few possibilities here, you aren't installing it correctly/ not plugging it in fully, or it's a DOA card. Besides that I can't really think of anything but someone may have another idea.

Yeah its really odd that it detects but no output probably all the ports are dead 😕

Can you post a picture of the power connectors on the GPU? 

You also should do DDU. This will wipe all old graphics drivers in case there's a conflict in them. Make sure you use it in safe mode, no networking. Download new drivers for the 6900xt, place on USB, then go through the DDU steps and install that driver while in offline mode.

The 6900XT has different ports in the back. Have you tried plugging in the monitor in another one? Also, what is your power supply?
