i have pretty high temps

4STY

hello, i need help.I was playing in the bios and found out some settings. one of them was tpu , kind of auto overclock. I activated it and i didnt like the oc. i removed the cmos battery , beacuse it wouldnt reset in the bios. then i reinstalled the battery , re-do the settings in the bios , without tpu , and fired up gta. the temps were higher than normal ( i have water cooler and i was usually getting 60 65 , but now i get 60 - 78 ) and i am scared i messed up something. if you know how to solve the issue , i would be grateful. Thanks

When you reset cmos, everything goes back to normal. Unless you changed something else and forgot that you did. Could it be higher ambient temps than the last time you tested?

Then when after reset it should be the same, unless you forgot some setting or the motherboard auto to some different value. did you change fan speed or something?

Last time you where checking temps, was it just after startup? Could it just be higher water temp in the AIO?

Ok. Then shutdown and let it sit for 30 min or something and test again

No. 60-80° would actually still be ok if you're in a game.
