So I've been looking up some FPS guides for my laptop and have stumbled across something called "Ultimate Performance" power plan. Does it really do anything or is it just something entirely fake?

Probably increases power to all vital components in the expense of heat and battery life.

Its the same plan that windows used to call High Performance, it only disables all power saving measures. You wont gain anything from it.

Nope between High Performance mode and that none. Compared to stock Balanced profile, maybe a little.
