PCI Riser 4.0 cable for Corsair 1000D Case

NephtisSeibzehn

         Hey guys,

I currently have a 1080ti in my system that I will eventually upgrade to a 3080 (or 3080ti by the time any card becomes available apparently). Anyway, one of my planned changes it to set my gpu vertically in the case. Are either of these riser cables good for it?  Thanks for the advice guys.

Motherboard is not gen4 atm. I currently have an intel 7700k and plan to go AMD ryzen, so I'll be getting a new... well, pretty much everything haha. So it will be gen4 soon enough.

in that case you wouldnt benifit from going the gen 4 riser now. so maybe save money now and get it when you are gen 4.

Saying that i have a ryzen 5600x and a 3070 FE - running on a gen 3.0 riser. ou just have to set the BIOS to gen 3.0 not auto and ther is no issues and it doesnt slow down the GPU at all
