Upgrade recommendations

So I got this pc and I was wondering what I could upgrade to make it faster

Firstly, if you are booting off of an HDD, you could try using an SSD to boot from like an MX500 from Crucial which offers good value. Secondly, you could try upgrading your RAM a bit, but without knowing the actual specs it's hard to tell. A C2D machine would feel a lot snappier with an SSD.

It seems you have a total of 8 gigs from the 4 sticks, right? That should be okay for a machine if you're doing Google and Discord.

ok, open cmd on the computer and enter this command, " wmic baseboard get product,Manufacturer,version,serialnumber ". then send a picture please

It says manufacturer asustek computer inc and product p5e and serial number ms1c7ab76n00770 version rev 1.xx

I didn't sent a picture because it said my full name so that's why

ok, any core2 quad processor will be a good upgrade, it will effectively double your performance. They don't make these cpus anymore but you will find them on the 2nd hand market

I have this GPU it's a r9 270x i think but i need 2 6 pin power connectors but this pc only has 1 of them

the cpu and gpu should work fine together. Both are pretty weak compared to todays standards. If you can find a adapter to get another 6pin then you can put the gpu in, it will accelerate everything
