Upgrade From The T3

Guest

So I've had the Canon T3 for almost a year now, and it was a great DSLR to start off with, but I think I need to upgrade. I want something that is going to last quite awhile (at least the next 5 years) and has a significant boost in image quality compared to the T3. I'm not going into any kind of photography in particular, but I do plan on filming video sometime soon.

I would prefer something from Canon's lineup, but I'm open to suggestions from either Nikon or Canon. My price range is from $1000-1500, but I will take suggestions to a maximum of $2000. I was thinking about either the Canon 60D or 70D, but im not too sure at this point. Any Help is appreciated =)

If its the T3i I would not upgrade unless you are using it for professional photography it's still a very good camera.

Nope, just the regular T3, and it's not bad necessarily, I just wanted to look for something a bit sharper.

I actually visited my uncle recently and he has this camera, great quality. The bad part is that because it's Nikon, I can't use any of my lenses that I currently own. It would cost too much.

That kit comes with two lenses. You could sell your Canon ones.

Going to a 60d/70d doesn't give you much improvement I would go with a 7d if you have the money :)
