3070 powersupply connection

Hey guys. So i was watching a video on ytb about connecting graphics cards to the psu. So i have a 3070 which is connected by 1 cable with 2 8 pin connections. The video (Jayz2cents) says that you shouldnt connect the graphics card with the "daisy chain". Is the 3070 that power hungry or can it stay that way? Thanks in advance ^_^

No you shouldn't. It's too much power for one cable (as jayztwocents rightly noted)

But you also shouldn't use some random pcie cables, only ones that are verified to work with your PSU.

Did your PSU come with 2 separate 8 pin pcie cables?

The direction tells you... the direction
