idk if this is legal question or whatever so if a mod sees this and needs to take it down or something please do, I don't mean to break any rules I don't know about.

Are those cheap "used" windows 10 keys legit and legal? If so where is the most reliable place to find and buy one in your opinion?

$30? you've been ripped off. Browse a little and you'll see $10 a pop.

It is perfectly legal to sell your own license key to someone else.

It is not legal for someone to sell keys bought with institutional license outside their institution (OEM / Corporate Keys).

Some of these license can be OEM (volume license) or Personal.

Microsoft have no way to measure wether these keys were used within the boundaries of the license or not.

-> Moved to Windows

There's no legal/illegal argument. Not in a way you might think atleast. Only thing where legislation might come into effect is the way keys are acquired in first place. Like are they acquired using illegal methods (stolen or counterfeit cash/credit cards for example) or is person/company selling them violating some laws on sales made by person/company (taxes). Thats the only legal/illegal argument.

"Legit" is also bit iffy. The keys for the most part are real and come from Microsoft. However, there might be evaluation keys, Enterprise/Education keys and such in the mix. These are all legit keys, but they aren't meant to be activated outside specified situations. Meaning that seller is violating Microsofts EULA/ToS. And if Microsoft finds that out, they know which batch of keys it was. So there's real risk of keys getting blacklisted and stop working. Though the risk is small.

Try ebay, find a good seller with a good rep, ask for warranty if the key invalid.
