Changed the CPU to a 3600 as is only $2-3 more so obvious better choice. Put in a better mobo and ram and case. No point paying that money for a new 1050ti, i put in a RX580 for the price you should be able to find it on the used market for. Could vary however depending on where you live (its about 150 in my area on eBay). If you want a new GPU everything's crazy right now so I would advise too wait for prices to return to somewhere near normal.

Hey, wouldn't it be kinda complicated to update the BIOS of the mobo to work with a ryzen 5 3600?

Edit: I think I'll upgrade to the B550m pro4 for CPU compatibility straight out of the box, but I'd like to find a budget PSU thats still enough for my system on Newegg, could you offer any help there?

There's a better PSU for a similar price on newegg. Hard to go below $60 (if you want good quality, bad idea to cheap out on a psu) to be honest.
