Mixing same model sticks of ram but different capacity

Hello, I need some help.

I am looking to upgrade my ram capacity from 16GB of ram to 48GB of ram.

The question is that I don't know if they will work togheder well, now I have some HyperX Fury 16GB (2x8GB) 3200MHz CL16 1.35V dual kit, and I want to buy another HyperX Fury 32GB (2x16GB) 3200MHz CL16 1.35V dual kit, to make 48GB of ram. They are the exact model but different capacity.

The motherboard that I have: ASRock B450 Steel Legend

The processor: Ryzen 7 3700x

and the graphics card: RTX 3070

As long as the mobo supports that much RAM, then yes, you will be fine.

NOTE: I no longer frequent this site. If you really need help, PM/DM me and my e.mail will alert me.

It will work, but you might have to lower the speed. That's from personal experience, when I upgraded from 32GB (2x16) to 64GB with two additional 16GB DIMMs.
