any python experts?

this is my second day trying to learn some python, because im bored at work so figured i would do something productive with my time

 

i have no experience in programming prior to yesterday and today

I think that exercise wants you to have hotel_cost(days) return the the days multiplied with the money per night. something along the lines of this:

def hotel_cost(night):    return (night*140)

You didn't interpret step 2 correctly. It's asking you to return the sum of calling the 3 functions and you are returning the sum of the 2 arguments.

The problem that is being reported, however, seems to be that, in the function hotel_cost, you are always returning 140 instead of 140 * the argument (nights).
