a buddy of mine is looking for a wma to mp3 converter. what program have you stumbled upon that works good and is free?

I have no clue how, but maybe Audacity or QuickTime shall do the job?

audacity doesnt support wma due to wma beging a licensed format.

uh foobar2000 if it supports wma? because you can convert it to FLAC, MP3, Ogg Vorbis, etc.

dbpoweramp hands down the best anything for ripping an converting but I really dont recommend converting lossy files.
