Best PC Build?

Go to solution Solved by SignatureSigner,

You would most lilely want to have a i91900k with a bunch of ram and a beast MOBO. Sli is pointless so go with a 3090. Thats about it. A threadripper has many cores but they are not fast cores. SLI is dead so thats as fast as it gets.

This is all hypothetical of course and you would need rgb everything to get those 1000fps

guaranteed!

If there was no budget, what's the best PC build.  The streamer Clix has like 1000 frames for Fortnite.  Of course he doesn't have a 1000hz monitor.  So, is that the best.  By the way, by the best I mean like 5 CPUs and 2 RTX 3090s.  Would the best CPU be the new thredripper?  Also, how many frames would I get?

I guess its hard to define the "best". At some point you will hit little to no performance gain and maybe even lose performance. Then your just spending loads of money for no reason. Kinda like 3090s in SLI, very little point for the money and probably used (if it is) mostly for pure flex. (although I think there are certain cases where it can be worth it iirc-not for gaming though)
