Remap Bluetooh Volume Dial

Hi,

I just bought a Logitech (now Logi apparently) Z407 2.1 speakers set. It comes with a nice wireless knob/dial to control volume, basses, and switch between inputs. I was wondering if it is possible to use it for other purposes.

Maybe you can point me at some programs or tool that works in my case.
