you said nvidia was overpriced, but the cards at least arent spitting out as many broken frames per dollar as amd cards, so there are advantages to paying more

That's a false dicotomy. The frame times are not always busted on 7990 or other CF cards and most people don't run dual card anyway so...

I like to have the best performance possible.

I am currently using 2x7870's in Crossfire as I love how cheap, but powerful they are. I also love the OpenCL and OpenGL support for almost every program out there(especially my emulators!).

If you want to know why i didn't go with Nvidia this time around(I did before) is because;

-PhysX is useless as almost 5 games in the past two years use it effectively

-CUDA is becoming obsolete in a few years as Adobe and other software developers are switching to OpenCL/GL as it is better, but not supported currently

-High price for worse performance compared to the AMD equivalent

-Also Nvidia's weird cards like the Titan are a big eyesore, feels like they are intentionally ripping off their customers and don't care

Pretty much it. I had a GTX 570 before and it was a great card, never had problems, but this time I went with AMD and couldn't be happier. The only thing that sucks about AMD is their Crossfire support, but that is being worked on and should be fixed(mostly) before the end of the year.

Sorry but, if you can, keep everything in one post(there is the "MultiQuote" button on the bottom right), oh and you could have just clicked "Like This" on the right side, unless you are on Mobile, then I understand ;)
