Problem with Connecting 100Hz Full HD TV to PC

starekss

Hi, I decided to ask for help on this forum, since wherever I looked, I couldn't find solution to my problem.

I connected my TV - Samsung LE46B650 (100Hz) to my PC, using HDMI cable. My main monitor Phillips 272G5DY (144Hz) is connected to PC with DisplayPort cable.

In windows advanced display options, and in NVIDIA Control Panel, I see that Samsung TV is set to 1080p and 60Hz, and Philips monitor is displaying at 1080p 144Hz.

When I run Testufo motion test, while duplicating screens, test shows 144Hz which I'm happy with.

However, when I display image only on my TV screen, and I run ufotest, test shows only 30Hz, but in windows display is set to 60Hz.

I tried disconnecting Monitor and run test only with TV connected, I still get 30Hz, but windows and nvidia shows 60Hz.

My TV is 100Hz, so I would suppose it shouldn't have problems with displaying 60Hz through HDMI ?

My GPU is RTX 2080 super so it's plenty to do the task. I will be glad for any help, thank you in advance.
