I recently got a new cooler for my build and in the process I damaged my old cpu while trying to install it, now having a new (but same) cpu and plugging everything in I found myself stuck in a restart loop with my PC with no POST. Everything before damaging my old cpu worked just fine, and I’m positive I connected everything properly.

I pulled it out wrong, it was stuck to the previous air cooler and a pin came off.

Ouch.

You got the pin out of the system yes?

It wasn’t in the system when I checked.

All I can think of, is to put the old cooler back on, and see what happens
