Alright, thank you, I'll be limiting myself to playing a 2007 game until I upgrade to a SeaSonic 650W Bronze unit

Your current PSU is the Elite V3(Tier E), people used worse PSU's than that without issues. It's a good midrange unit if we consider the noname units lowend.

But honestly I wouldnt bother to replace it with another crappy unit from GOD-SeaSonic-GOD like the M12II, S12II or S12III

Hey yall, I just got a 600W CoolerMaster Battle Sword II power supply, hooking it up to a machine with a Ryzen 5 5600X and a Radeon RX 5700XT.

Its not on the PSU tier list and the OEM is suspicious as hell. (Shenzhen PowaTech)

Does anyone know if these power supplies are safe or not and should I be worried? My PC runs on 450W at load total so I shouldn't be pushing this PSU to its limits which I think would probably cause it to explode, any help would be appreciated.

Ah yes, a common noname. You shouldn't actually use it

Most Chinese PSU's are masked. They might consumpt 600w but only give out around 400w

That is called PSU efficiency. There is a topic for that in the forum.

So yeah, just don't use it. Plz

It looks like coolermaster MasterWatt lite but chinese rebranded. PRobably very bad psu. Would not use it with your specs.

I know that they're masked but the estimated wattage doesn't really go above 500W which is why I'm asking if its fine or not, I wanna see genuine hardware tests on this PSU because I'm low on funds and can't really afford a new power supply so I wanna see if it's fine before heading on and buying a new one

https://m.zol.com.cn/article/2717501.html I found this Chinese article but I can't speak Chinese lol

From what little I can find it's a rebadged mwe white 600w. So no not good enough as the mwe white are low quality psu's.

So it won't handle the specifications I have?

It will not. If it does then it will die shortly down the line after being overloaded one too many times and since the wme white saved costs on everything expect more to fail than just the psu.

What does the architecture have to do? If anything itll probably fair better because of next generation efficiency

It's a rebadged mwe white the specs line up basically one to one that and the lack of any 80 plus efficiency and what little internal shots I saw basically being identical

What the do you thing gonna happen to it if PSU fails?

What PSU are you talking about? The only thing I found on Google for "CoolerMaster Battle Sword II" was listings on Wish and Aliexpress for "Cooler Master Battle Sword" and "Cooler Master Brand Sword War II". Could you take a picture of the label on the side of the PSU? Also, since you're getting a Ryzen 5000 series and a 5700 XT, you should have no trouble spending $80 on a half decent PSU...

:)

Honestly with how things are right now 600 doesn't sound too far fetched :p. Nice that you managed to get one close to retail.
