The title pretty much says it all. Building a PC for a friend and he wants something REALLY silent. Also good cooling would be awesome. I can't decide which one, EVGA, which is my personal favourite, altough not sure if the most silent, since I haven't owned any other brands,

Maybe ASUS, or MSi, which one do you guys recommend?

Rest of system is (just in case for reference) Corsair H100i cooling a 4670k, Corsair RM650 and a couple of Quiet Edition SP120's in a Define R4.

Thanks for advance!

MSI's is supposed to be the quietest and sometimes they are cheaper than the other brands but i would go for a EVGA 770

Oh wow, thanks for this info! Hmm, decisions, decisions... I might go for the Windforce, becuase it's pretty low across the board. Thanks!

As far as I'm aware, in terms of sheer quietness, TwinFrozr and WindForce are the top two, but I've had the best experience with EVGA - super easy to talk to and their warranty is awesome "As long as it comes back in 'factory condition' we don't care"

I owned a Twin Frozr card, and it was dead silent... That would be my recommendation after experience, and seeing these graphs.

Case: Lian Li PC011-D - CPU: 3900x - GPU: 2080ti Reference - Mobo: Gigabyte - Ram: Corsair 4x16gb 3200MHz - SSD: 2TB Samsung Evo NVME

Got a Twin Frozr 760. I just can't hear it. The fans spin at 35% under load and the temp is below 60C (that's with an OC a little bit more than the stock OC it came at. I think it was around 50C stock.), Anyway, cool and quiet MSI card is.
