I would just use the Cloudready installer.

 

Maybe that's what he does in the video, idk. Not watching a 15 minute vid lol.

It does not support the Google Play Store for legal reasons, see https://cloudreadykb.neverware.com/s/article/Does-CloudReady-Support-The-Google-Play-Store-Android-Apps. Otherwise, it's the full ChromeOS.
