That is a pretty solid build.

Those are the only things worth a look again :

•Motherboard: MSI B550-A PRO ATX AM4 Motherboard - Very good value board. If you are OK with the IO, go for it.
•Memory: Patriot Viper Steel 16 GB (2 x 8 GB) DDR4w-3200 CL16 Memory - You could have 3600 cl16 kit around the same price, sometimes. Might worth the look (like Crucial Ballistix 2x8 3600 cl16 (was $75 here))
•Storage: Patriot VPN100 256 GB M.2-2280 NVME Solid State Drive - A bit too low for a storage. You should consider 512.

For the rest, it is solid, well thinked and well used money.

-He’s gaming and doing very light rendering, he doesn’t need 64 gigs of ram. In that budget for the 64GB, instead go for 32GB of CL16 3600mhz.

-For the games he’s playing, (FPS games), Ryzen is better. Ryzen is much better in CSGO and Valorant. (For example). Since he is also doing light rendering work, he could go with a 5800X, which would have better gaming performance, better multithreaded performance, and it would be slightly cheaper, since you don’t need an expensive AIO, or $200 mobo.

Everything else on the list looks fine

10 cores 20 threads render better than 8 cores 16 threads.

More ram doesn't give you increase in fps, instead it gives you smoother experiences. Why you pay more faster ram than having 64 gb of ram?

Ryzen 7 5800x is 449$ and I9 10850k is 429$,10 cores is cheaper than 8 cores. Any opinion ?

Just because it has 2 more cores and 4 more threads doesn’t mean it’s automatically better for rendering.

He doesn’t need more RAM, because, well, he doesn’t need it! 32GB a would be much cheaper, and would do him fine. That way, he can buy a better GPU or CPU

Also the 5800X (overall) is cheaper -

5800X - $450

Decent Air cooler - 80 Decent AIO - 110

B550-A Pro - $130

Intel build -

109850k - $430

Decent AIO/Aircooler - $120/$80

Motherboard - $170 - 200.

Due to the motherboard prices, the Ryzen build is cheaper overall.

Apparently, the list that you made is in USD.

Prices of tech products vary from country to country. There's PCPP Philippines available.

Made a list. For 2200 you could add a 5950x -

Think this would be good. This has a 5950x and a 3080. Basically the best gaming system that people can afford (besides a 3090)

Just downgrade to a 5900x and add in a decent 1440p/4k monitor.

Who uses hard drive in 2021 for a new build and who uses 240mm aio for a high end cpu

Can you find a 5950x in stock?

This is a High end New Build Omg. You parts have a problem

The Hard drive is a secondary drive. Just for storing simple files, it’s not a problem. Many high end builds have hard drives.

The Kraken X52 is a good AIO.

And it doesn’t matter that the 5950x isn’t in stock. He’s willing to go for a 5600x and a 3060ti. You put a 3080 in your build, which isn’t in stock, so your argument about a 5950x not being in stock doesn’t make much sense.

Ok I downgraded the build a little.

The cheapest ultra wide is very expensive and would land you 30k over budget.

I might consider this build since it has almost the same price with what I was originally going to build but much better. Thanks!

Is the monitor I have picked terrible??

In the Philippines there aren’t any monitors at those specs at a good price.

I was thinking of getting a samsung odeyssey G5 but based on my research I should just go with a G7 rather than settling on a G5.

Be sure to like the curve of the g7.

Just a side note about 5800x : this one runs hot. ( https://www.techpowerup.com/review/amd-ryzen-7-5800x/20.html )

I rarely go by the temperature figures on the web.

Here's a screenshot from the link that you have posted.

It clearly says on the top that they used u14s cooler for testing, while in the graph chart below they have used u12s.

This is how inconsistent these results are. Overclocked intel chips are much worse.

Also, intel and amd chips report temps differently. In amd it shows the temp of hottest spot on the cpu.

Thanks for the links!

I think the aio I've picked will be enough to cool the 5800x even if I OC it.
