Hey, Im going to build my first PC in the near future but I'm a complete novice when it comes to stuff like this. I've managed to get my hands on a AMD Ryzen 5 5600X Processor and a RTX 3060 Ti GPU but don't know what grade all the other components will need to be. I want to build my PC as cheaply as possible but want to maximise the CPU and GPU at the same time. I've been looking online at similar builds but they all vary in the price spent on ram and motherboards etc. Also been seeing various amount of fans in different builds so have no idea what sort of cooling system will be sufficient.
Thanks if you took the time to read this or can give me any advice

I will recommend an NHu12s (or an NHd15 (maybe)) for your PC build. Quote or @ me @Prodigy_Smit for me to see your replies.

Also some motherboards need a bios update for the b550 boards. you can ask the seller to bios update it or ask AMd for their bios update kit.

Motherboard: Just get a cheap B550 or try to get a B450 and borrow a 2nd gen Ryzen chip to do a BIOS update. For the most part, the main difference between motherboards is looks, overclocking support (which shouldn't be a concern on a tight budget, especially for Ryzen), and the amount of I/O. Get something with enough USBs for your use case and you should be fine.

Cooler: Just use the stock cooler. It'll be fine if you aren't overclocking. If you want to upgrade down the road, it would be a good option, but it isn't something necessary at the beginning.

RAM: Get a kit of 3200MHz CL16

PSU: 600w that's relatively high on the PSU tier list

Case: Cheapest one you think looks nice that supports ATX motherboards. You'll (probably) be fine

Thanks for the list, looks a great price. Would you happen to know if any of them retailers listed on PCpartpicker would do the bios update for the b550 if i contacted them about it? Cheers

Oh don't worry about it since the B550-a pro has bios flashback all you need is a USB drive and a computer to copy the bios onto the usb.
