Whats the right HDMI cable for my setup?

Hi,

I have a zephyrus g 14 and AOC Q27G2WG4 144op 144hz monitor.

Can I run the monitor at 144 or 120 hz at 1440p while the laptop internal screen at 1080p 120hz in extended mode?

Curently conected via HDMI on a HDMI 1.4 cable, runing the monitor at 60 hz. 

Will everything work as I want it to if i get a HDMI 2.0 cable?

What GPU does that thing run Nvidia 2060? If it is a 2060 then it should be HDMI 2.0b

If so then it should be able to run 1440p at 120Hz

You will need a HDMI cable rated at 18gig sec

 

Also how long of a HDMI cable do you need?

Longer HDMI cables tend to get messy anything over 2m can get tricky.

I use it as a primary display and the internal one as secondary, so i wouldn't be geting it longer than 2m. I can at least try since it's only 5€ on sale. Is it even posible?

Should be possible.

You can run different resolutions and refreshrates.
