Raid Controller?

so im looking to get a raid controller for my 3x 1tb wd black drives, but im new to the raid card controller scene and my z77 sabertooth cant take 3 more drives, im looking around newegg at controller cards by rosewill, syba, and highpoint? never heard of these companies, which one should i go for? just dont wanna end up buying something that sucks lol you know how it is.

 

im open to recommendations if you wanna link me to a raid card, needs to handle at least 3x 6gb/s hdd's in raid 0

from what I have found a good raid controller will set you back about $500. are you prepared?

edit: the ones im looking at are around 100$, whats the difference?

not sure. but I was looking at one that could handle 8 HDD on a pcie 8x rail.

The only hardware RAID controllers I'd consider are by LSI like the 9240-4i. it has no cache or battery backup so it's not recommened for RAID-5/6 if you ever go that route. Works fine for 0, 1 and 10 though. I have a 9260-4i for my RAID-5 but that's a little pricey.
