Please help me guys!!

I am going to buy my first gaming pc, but running on an extremely tight budget.

After a long research, I have sorted out the three GPU's:

• GTX 1650 Super

• GTX 1060 6GB

•  RTX 3050 ( or ti maybe??)

I also considered the team red options, but have heard that they aren't really that great in after sales updates and also cost a lot more

(about $50-$70 more) for the rx 580 and the rx 570 aren't around anymore. RX 5500XT performed inferior to the GTX 1650 super and also cost about $50 more.

Now, I have came to know about the release confirmation for RTX 3050, which is rumoured to perform at least more than a GTX 1660ti, but I am not sure about how much will I have to wait for it.

Please suggest me which one should I get or should I wait for the RTX 3050 to release?? Should I consider RTX 3050ti?? If so, how long of a wait am I looking at?

3050 is rumuored to be around the performance of 1660 ti, which outperforms 1650 super and 1060 quite a bit, nvidia have an event on january 12, so there is a good chance they will reveal then them, since 3050 , and 3060, are rumuored to release on january, i'd say definitiely wait, as for the 3050 Ti, Im pretty sure that instead there is just gonna be a 3060 with 6gb of vram instead of 12,

Please help me guys!!

to be honest i doubt the 3050 coming out

There’s tons of leaks, and NVIDIA a will release a 50 series card, they have every new gen.

It better be true, 'cause Nvidia should also look into the budget segment.

There was a source listing on the lenovo website, as saw.

Btw,people are already posting RTX 3050ti benchmarks on Yt lol

You would have too wait a couple months for the 3050, but I think it’s the best option. The 1650 super isn’t in stock and if you want the 1060 you would have to buy it used for around 120 - 150

Edit - The 3050 will have 2070 super performance, which is basically a 1080ti. So think of it as

1060 vs slightly better 1060 with less vram vs 1080ti with better encoder

I would suggest waiting for the 3050ti, as it is expected to have twice the float performance of both the 1650 super and 1060 6gb. If you have to buy one now, though, I would go for the 1650 super as it is newer and has about 100 gFlops of extra performance compared to the 1060.

I doubt it honestly, don't get me wrong, would be awesome if it did happen, but the 3060 is probably going to have performance between 2070 super and regular 2080, and the 3050 ti appeared on a lenovo list, I would say the 3050 ti would have between 2060 super / 2070 levels of performance, and the 3050, which only has 4gb of vram, would probably be around 1660 super/ti levels of performance, with 2060 levels of raytracing, basically the 3050 would probably just be a 2060 with less vram

here's my thought process -
3060ti = 2080S
3060 = 2080
3050ti = 2070s/2070
3050 = 2070/2060s

Yeah 3060 is probably going to be around 2080, 3050 ti maybe around the 2070S range, but 3050 is definitely not going to be able to equal 2060 super in performance, it will only have 4gb of vram, I would say at most it could be a bit better than a 2060, no more than that though

Eh, the ti versions usually aren't that different than the non ti versions. Back when the 1050 and 1050ti was a thing there was only a 10 - 15% performance difference.

ye, I still have a 1050, I think the main difference between the 1050 and the 1050 ti was the 2gb of extra vram, other than that they were pretty similar
