I got a new wireless mouse for christmas why are links so long and it lags when in wireless mode. I can describe this as it feels like the polling rate jumps down to about 5hz for a few seconds every once in awhile. I've never had this happen in wired mode.

Physical obstacles are my desk ~2feet of it. I moved my computer so that just my pull-out tray was in the way and still the same thing.

I went on the ipictek website to download the mouse driver but when I look in dev mgr it is labeled as "HID-compliant device" which is alongside my old mouse "Razer Cynosa Chroma" (curiously enough when i uninstall this device and scan for hardware changes it comes back)

How can I prevent this lagging? The only reason I got this mouse was because its wireless

It's probably 95% due to it being a cheap off-brand mouse. Is the lagging a lost-connection type or a crap latency type? Have you tried it in another computer and if so is the issue still present?

Have you perhaps, tried it in your GAME BOY lol spacer.png

Is 25 dollars really too cheap for a mouse? I wanted something not shit like those 10 dollar gaming mouses but something slightly more reasonable than the 150 dollar razer mouse that looked nice. The latency is still the same when it lags, its like when your game drops to 10 fps for a few seconds, thats what my mouse feels like except everything else is fine.

It's on the cheap side which is fine, the bigger issue is it being an off-brand one of a million type of companies. I mean, the "about us" section on the website goes nowhere. An even cheaper microsoft wireless mouse might have been a better choice in terms of reliability. Off-brand "cheap" products usually have worse quality control.
