power button flashed from purple to blue

Instead of having a separate power LED and HDD activity LED they combined it into one.

My PC 011 Dynamic is the same, blue for power and purple for HDD activity.

Hi! I just received my new Lian Li o11 mini White and I finished building my PC. When I turn it on, the power button flashed from purple to blue. (Blue is the normal color) Any idea why? Note that I do not have my USB front panel plugged in, nor the USB C front panel. Thanks for all the help!

Try plugging in your front panel.

Then see if it summons Waluigi.

Sadly, I can't. I had this motherboard in an older build and decided to get the o11 mini. When I was taking out the old mobo, the front panel USB pins broke. I never really used them anyway, so it was not a big deal for me.

Then enjoy the purple, I guess?

if you find the purple irritating, you can unplug your HDD LED + and - header on your motherboard, just leave your power switch and power LED + and - header plug.

that will get rid of your purple flash.

wouldn't the LED blow? you have consistent flow of current on Power LED. when your HDD do the pause flash. the power current will peak up, causing more to flow to the LED of your case power button? I don't think is a good idea. you can try use a multimeter on DC gauge to test the current flow.
