Budget:  max I want on cpu is 200 and Mac I want to spend on a gpu is also around 200

Country:  USA

Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for:  games like COD and GTA and I will be doing some coding and homework on it too

Other details: right now I have a ryzen 5 2400g as-well as a EVGA 1050 SC. I want to upgrade both my CPU and GPU so I don’t have to worry about it later on. I have a 500 watt psu and don’t know if that will be a problem. i was also planning on getting a new case and an aio over the years but those aren’t needed right now.

can you make it more clear

So I was planning to get a new GPU but from what people have told me is that if I were to get a new gpu I would most likely need to upgrade my cpu so i don't bottleneck the gpu. Idk if that's true tho

Do you want it for dual pc streaming setup?

I was just gonna get a new GPU but people have told me that I would most likely need to also upgrade my CPU so i dont bottleneck it

I would but I don’t have any good experience with used pc parts especially gpu’s

Honestly, I would get a used 1070 or 1080. If you do get scammed eBay has a good buyer protection.
