Never played Diablo series. Is it worth getting into now?

Spent a lot of my childhood playing Diablo + 2. Pretty solid games. Have they unfucked D3 yet or is it the same steaming pile of shit as it was months after release?

 

Good question. Played D2 over and over again, and even replayed years later. I played D3 through once and haven't touched it since. Didn't grab me in nearly the same way.
