My setup:

Ryzen 9 3900x

Asus ROG strix b450-f gaming

Corsair vengeance 16gb

Samsung 860 evo

Samsung 2tb hdd

Nvidia quadro 4000

For christmass i got a wd sn750 nmve ssd and i put it in my computer and windows picked it up but it was not useable and i was unable to format it. So i tyred it in a new slot and the same thing happend so i went to asus and i was told to install it in the original slot and change some bios settings but when i power it back on after putting it in the slot the red led said that there was a falt with the CPU (by the way i was earthed when doing all this) and it was not out putting to a monitor so i couldent change the bios.

Does enyone know what could be causing a falt or weather the nvme ssd killed the pc?

An SSD won't kill your CPU.

Take out the CMOS battery, while that's out take out the SSD, put the battery back in when you're done with that, boot it back up.

I'd start from scratch then, take out all the add-in cards except for the video card, take all the RAM out, look at what POST codes/beeps/lights say. At that point, add one stick back, see what the POST codes say...
